NEW FOR 2010 FULLSIZE OLD IRON AND IMPERIAL PAYOUTS AND SOME RULE CHANGES FOR ALL CLASSES.
*** entry for all classes except imperial and old iron will be $40 if prentered by June 23 and $50 after that date***

LIMIT 20 CARS FOR THIS CLASS. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. WE ARE ONLY HAVING ONE HEAT.
GENERAL RULES:
1) IF CAR DOES NOT PASS TECH OR DRIVER IS UNWILING TO CHANGE CAR TO PASS TECH, YOU WILL STAY ON THE TRAILOR. NO REFUNDS. IF RULES SAY YOU CANNOT DO IT, DO NOT DO IT. CALL FIRST WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
2) ALL DRIVERS MUST WEAR FULL FACED HELMETS, EYE PROTECTION, FULL LENGTH PANTS AND SHRITS AND WEAR SEAT BELTS. FIRE SUITS RECOMMENDED.
3) ALL DRIVERS MUST ATTEND DRIVERS MEETING.
4) TEAM DRIVING CANNOT BE PREVENTED, THEREFORE IT IS LEGAL, HOWEVER HOLDING IS NOT ALLOWED AND WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION.
5) ONE FIRE, HELMET FALLING OFF AND ROLLOVER ALLOWED. SECOND TIME YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
6)60 SECONDS TO MAKE A HIT. ( NO SANDBAGGING )
7) NO HITTING THE DRIVERS DOOR ALLOWED.
8)NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED IN THE PITS.
9) ALL DRIVERS MUST BE 18 TO COKPETE, IF UNDER 18 MUST SIGN A RELEASE WAVIER BY PARENT OR LEGAL GAURDIAN.
10) POOR SPORTSMANSHIP OR MISCONDUCT BY DRIVERS OR CREW MEMBERS WILL RESULT IN ALL DISQUALIFICATION.
11) ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL
FULL SIZE OLD-IRON, IMPERIALS, 80′S AND MIDSIZE FWD
THERE IS ADDITIONAL RULES FOR THESE CLASSES SO READ CAREFULLY.
1)ANY AMERICAN MADE HARDTOP CAR, STATIONWAGONS ARE ALLOWED. NO CARRYALLS OR HEARSES.(imperials have there own class)
2)ALL GLASS, HEADLIGHTS, MOLDINGS, OUTSIDE AND INSIDE CAR MUST BE REMOVED, GAS TANKS, BATTERIES, CARPET, ETC.
3) BUMPERS: ANY AUTOMOTIVE BUMPER ALLOWED FRONT AND REAR. NO HOMEMADE BUMPERS ALLOWED. ALL BUMPERS CAN BE WELDED 8″ BACK OF BUMPER ONTO THE FRAME.
4) DRIVETRAIN: ANY COMBO OF ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, REAR END ALLOWED. ALL AXLES MUST HAVE 5 HOLE BOLT PATTERNS. REAR ENDS MAY BE CHAINED\WIRED TO FRAME IN TWO PLACES WITH BOLTS. ( NOT WELDED ).
5) ENGINE MOUNTS: MAY BE MODIFIED TO HOLD ENGINE IN PLACE BUT MAY NOT STRENGTHEN CAR. ENGINES MAY BE WELDED OR CHAINED IN 2 SPOTS, 1 PER FRAME RAIL. NO MORE FORWARD THAN WATER PUMP PULLEY AND MAY NOT GO PAST THE SECOND SPARK PLUG ON THE ENGINE BLOCK. ENGINE MOUNT PLATE THAT IS WELDED TO FRAME CANNOT EXCEED 6″ OF WELDING TO THE FRAME. NO REAR ENGINE MOUNTS ALLOWED AT ALL.
6) WATER PUMP GUARDS: PUMP PROTECTORS CANNOT BE ANY FARTHER FORWARD THAN 2″ IN FRONT OF WATER PUMP PULLEY.
7) DISTRIBUTOR GUARDS: CANNOT BE CONNECTED TO DASH BAR OR FIREWALL. THAT INCLUDES BEING WELDED OR ANY SPACERS OR EXSTENSIONS OF ANY KIND.
8)COOLING SYSTEM: MUST REMAIN IN FACTORY POSITION. RADI-BARRELLS ARE ALLOWED BUT CANNOT BE WELDED TO FRAME OR TO THE CORE SUPPORT. BOLTS ONLY. RADI-BARRELLS CANNOT BE BIGGER THAN FACTORY RADIATORS. CARS WITH RADI-BARRELLS CAN HAVE (2) 4″X1\4″ STRAP GOING VERTICAL WELDED TO CORE SUPPORT TO HELP SUPPORT BARRELL ITSELF. STRAP WELDED TO CORE SUPPORT NOT TO THE FRAME. CARS WITH RADIATORS CAN HAVE A 1\4″ PLATE IN FRONT OF RAD. BUT CAN ONLY BE 2″ BIGGER THAN RAD. OPENING. WELDED OR BOLTED IN PLACE. NO KICKERS FROM CORE SUPPORT TO THE FRAME.
9) FUEL SYSTEMS: MUST BE METAL TANKS BOLTED INSIDE CAR, LIMITED TO 7 GALLONS. ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS ARE ALLOWED. ( MUST HAVE POWER SWITCH IN CAR MARKED ON- OFF ) GAS TANK PROTECTORS ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE AS LONG AS IT IS NOT WELDED TO THE BACK OF THE REAR SEAT PANEL.
10) DOORS: ALL DOORS CAN BE WELDED SHUT. NO STRAPS WIDER THAN 4″ AND DOOR STRAPS CANNOT BE WELDED TO FRAME OR TAILGATE STRAPS WELDED TO THE FRAME.
11) HOODS: 4-1″ BOLTS MAX. FOR HOOD HOLD DOWNS. YOU MAY HAVE 4-1″ THREADED ROD TO THE FRAME BUT ONLY FROM A-ARM FORWARD. NO THREADED ROD ALLOWED FROM BACK OF A-ARM TO THE FRONT OF FIREWALL. MAX. 4″ PIGTAIL OR BEND WELDED TO THE FRAME. PLUS YOU CAN HAVE 2 SHEET METAL TO SHEET METAL BOLTS ADDED ON HOOD, 1″ WITH 4″ MAX. WASHERS. TOTAL OF 6 BOLTS IN HOOD. ALL HOODS MUST HAVE 10″X10″ HOLE FOR FIRE.
12)TRUNKS: 2-1″ MAX. BOLTS ( THREADED ROD ) WITH 4″ WASHERS FROM FRAME TO TRUNK LID. ADDITIONAL 4-1″ MAX. BOLTS SHEET METAL TO SHEET METAL ALLOWED WITH 4″ WASHERS. TOTAL OF 6 BOLTS IN TRUNK. TRUNKS MUST HAVE 10″X10″ HOLE FOR INSPECTION.
13)FENDERS AND REAR QUARTER PANELS: 8-3\8″ MAX. BOLTS PER PANEL ( WHEEL OPENING ) PRE CUTTING ALLOWED. NO ADDING OR DOUBLING SHEET METAL. ALL SHEET METAL REPAIR MUST BE DONE WITH SHEET METAL ONLY. NO BODY ARMOR.
14) BODY BOLTS: BODY MOUNTS MAY BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH 1″ MAX. BOLTS AND 4″X4″ WASHERS. YOU MAY HAVE 6 ADDITIONAL BODY MOUNTS THREWOUT THE CAR BODY ( FIREWALL TO REAR BUMPER ) ALL ADDED MOUNTS MUST BE PAINTED ORANGE. ALL BODY BOLTS CANNOT EXCEED NO LONGER THAN 6″ IN LENGTH. WASHERS ON BOTTOM OF FRAME CANNOT BE WELDED.
15) FRAMES: FRAME SEAMS CAN BE WELDED TOP AND BOTTOM ( JUST USE THE WELDER ) WELDS MAY NOT EXCEED 3\4″ WIDE ( JUST FRAME SEAMS ) NO STUFFING, PLATING, DOUBLING, FILLING, CONCRETE, BOLTING, PINNING OR ANY THING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF TO PUT IN THE FRAME. NO CROSS MARRIAGE OF FRAMES ( WELDING A K-FRAME INTO ANOTHER FRAME VISE VERSA )
ALL PRE- 1973 MOPAR Y-FRAME CARS ARE ALLOWED TO PLATE THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE Y-FRAME. PLATE MUST BE 1\4″ MAX. THIS RULE IS FOR PRE-1973 MOPAR CARS ONLY.
16) TIRES: ANY AIR TIRE ALLOWED, NO STUDDED OR SOLID FILLED TIRES ALLOWED. ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS MUST BE REMOVED, ALL SPLIT RIMS MUST BE WELDED.
17) BATTERIES: MUST BE MOUNTED AND BOLTED TO THE FLOOR AND COVERED. ( MAX. 2 BATTERIES )
18) TRANSMISSION COOLERS: MUST BE MOUNTED INSIDE OF CAR.
19) SUSPENSION: A-ARMS MAY BE WELDED, NO LEAFING NON LEAFED CARS. MAX. 9 LEAFS WITH 1″ STAGGER. 5 LEAF CLAMPS PER SPRING STACK. 1\4″ FLAT STOCK STEEL IS ALLOWED BUT CANNOT BE WELDED.
20) ROLL BARS AND DOOR BARS: MUST BE INSIDE OF CAR. DOOR BARS MAY NOT EXCEED THE INSIDE FRONT OF FIREWALL AND CANNOT EXCEED THE FRONT OF THE REAR WHEEL HOUSE. 1 DASH BAR, 2 SAFETY BARS BEHIND DRIVER. THE BAR BEHIND DRIVER CAN HAVE X BRACING WELDED TO THE SHEET METAL INSIDE OF CAR.
DOWN BARS: 2 PER SIDE TOTAL OF 4 MUST BE MOUNTED TO FLOOR OF CAR IN VERTICAL POSITION ( NO ANGLED DOWN BARS ALLOWED AND NO WELDIND TO THE FRAME )
21) # 9 WIRE: 2 PER WINDOW OPENING ALLOWED.
22) ALLOWABLE PLATING FOR PRE-RUN CARS: CARS THAT HAVE BEEN PUSHED DOWN OR BENT BACK OR THE FRAME IS RIPPED CAN BE PLATED. THE RULE IS FROM FRONT BUMPER TO A-ARM 2-6″X1\4″ PLATES PER SIDE. PLATES CAN BE ON 2 SIDES OF FRAME. BACK OF A-ARM TO TRANNY CROSSMEMBER 2-6″X1\4″ PLATES PER SIDE PLATES CAN BE ON 2 SIDES OF FRAME. FROM TRANNY CROSSMEMBER TO THE CENTER OF REAR HUMP 2-6″X1\4″ PLATES ON 2 SIDES OF FRAME. CENTER HUMP TO REAR BUMPER 2-6″X1\4″ PLATES ON 2 SIDES OF FRAME. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ANY PLATES BACK TO BACK THERE MUST BE A 2″ GAP BETWEEN PLATES. DO NOT BUTT ANY PLATES TOGETHER. JUDGES DECSIONS ARE FINAL!
23) WINDOW OPENINGS: WINDSHEILD AND REAR WINDOW BARS ARE ALLOWED BUT CAN ONLY BE WELDED OR BOLTED NO MORE THAN 6″ ONTO THE ROOF OR REARWARD OF WINDOW OPENING 6″ ( 6″ ONTO THE FIREWALL OR REAR DECKLID FROM WINDOW OPENING ) BARS CANNOT BE WELDED TO DASH BAR OR SAFETY CAGE ( SHEET METAL ONLY ) WINDOW NETTING IS ALLOWED ON DRIVERS SIDE ONLY ( DRIVERS DOOR AND DRIVERS PASSENGER DOOR NO EXCEPTIONS )
24) ROOF SIGNS: MUST HAVE, NO BIGGER THAN 3′ IN LENGTH
25) ANY 80′S AND NEWER CARS ARE ALLOWED TO RUN IN THE OLD-IRON CLASS. IF YOU DO THIS YOU MAY WELD FRAME AND BODY SEAMS AND LEAF A NON-LEAFED CAR. (MUST FOLLOW LEAFING RULE)
26) ALL SEDANS ( NO STATIONWAGONS ) ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE A 14″X1\4″ PLATE ON THE REAR HUMP. THIS PLATE CAN ONLY BE WELDED ON 1 SIDE OF THE FRAME RAIL AND HAS TO IN THE CENTER OF THE HUMP ( AXLE ) STRAIGHT ACROSS OR 7″ REWARD OF CENTER HUMP AND 7″ FORWARD CENTER OF HUMP. ANYTHING LONGER THAN 14″ THE ENTIRE PLATE HAS TO BE REMOVED. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. THIS IS FOR OL-IRON, IMPERIALS AND 80′S NOT MIDSIZE OR TRUCKS!
80′S AND NEWER
1) NO WELDING FRAME OR BODY SEAMS
2) DOORS, TRUNKS AND TAILGATES CAN ONLY BE WELDED WITH 2-4″X4″ PLATES PER SEAM.
3) NO ADDITIONAL BODY MOUNTS ARE ALLOWED.
4) 2003 AND NEWER CROWN VIC’S ( FORDS ) MUST HAVE FACTORY ALUMINUM ENGINE CRADLE.
MIDSIZE ( FWD ONLY ) AND COMPACT ( FWD ONLY )
1) HOODS AND TRUNKS CAN BE CHAINED IN 4 SPOTS. ( NO BOLTS )
2) DOORS: 2 CHAINS PER DOOR ONLY, NO WELDING. DRIVERS DOOR CAN BE WELDED SHUT.
3) BUMPERS: ALL BUMPERS MUST BE OF MIDSIZE NATURE. THIS MEANS THE CAR IT CAME OFF MUST FIT INTO THIS CLASS. ( CANNOT USE PINTO’S, GREMLIN’S, MUSTANG’S OR REAR WHEEL DRIVE IMPERIALS, IMPALA, NEW YORKER, ETC. ANY REAR WHEEL DRIVE CARS. ALSO NO RESKINNING FACTORY FWD BUMPER WITH OTHER BUMPER OR ANY STEEL. JUDGES DECSIONS ARE FINAL.
4) NO WELDING OF ANY FRAME OR BODY SEAMS.
5) YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE SAFETY BARS ( DASH AND DRIVER )
IMPERIALS
1) ALL IMPERIALS MUST FOLLOW OLD-IRON RULES. THESE RULES ARE ADDITIONAL FOR THE IMPS.
2)YOU CAN HAVE 6 HOOD AND TRUNK BOLTS. ALL BOLTS CAN GO TO THE FRAME. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE THREADED ROD BETWEEN BACK OF A-ARM TO THE FRONT OF FIREWALL 1″ MAX. WITH 6″X6″ WASHERS. OR YOU CAN HAVE A ANGLED DOWN BAR OFF THE DASH BAR THAT CANNOT EXCEED THE FIREWALL. ( CHOOSE DOWN BAR OR THREADED ROD ( NOT BOTH )
3) ALL FRAME REPAIR MUST FOLLOW PRE-RUN PLATING RULE.
4) FLOOR PLATING ALLOWED BUT CANNOT EXCEED 3\8″ THICK AND NO WIDER THAN 24″ AND CANNOT EXCEED NO MORE THAN 6′ IN LENGTH. 6 ADDITIONAL BODY MOUNTS ARE ALLOWED. MUST FOOLOW BODY MOUNT RULE.
5) LEAF SPRING SHACKLES MAY BE MODIFIED. 8 LEAF CLAMPS PER SPRING NO WELDING OF SPRINGS.
6) IMPERIAL SUB FRAMES ( K-FRAME ) MAY BE WELDED, BOLTED OR PINNED.

FOR 2010 ALL CARS IN EVERY CLASS WILL BE BORE SCOPED EVEN THE IMPERIAL CLASS. ALL RULES WILL BE ENFORCED!
TRUCK RULES:
1)ALL GENERAL RULES APPLY TO THE TRUCKS.
2) 1\2 AND 3\4 TON TRUCKS WILL BE PERMITTED. 4-WHEEL DRIVES MUST REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT. SUBURBANS ARE ALLOWED.
3) METAL GAS TANKS RECOMMENDED, PLASTIC TANKS MUST BE MOUNTED IN METAL BOX AND SECURLY FASTEND TO THE FLOOR AND COVERED.
4)DOORS, TAILGATES,BOX AND CAB MAYBE WELDED OR CHAINED.
5)SAFETY IS A BIG CONCERN FOR THIS CLASS SO MAKE THE INSIDE OF CAB SAFE ( DASH BAR, BEHIND THE DRIVER BAR AND DOOR PLATE MANDATORY. DOOR PLATE CANNOT EXCEED 1″ THICK EXTENDING NO MORE THAN 3″ PAST DOOR OPENING SEAMS AND NO MORE THAN 24″ WIDE.
6) SUSPENSION: FACTORY A-ARMS MAYBE WELDED BUT NOT TO THE FRAME. A- ARM TRUCKS MAY HAVE SOLID FRONT SUSPENSION. LEAF SPRINGS MAX. 10 LEAFS 1″ STAGGER FOR REAR END. FRONT END LEAFS 8 MAX. 1″ STAGGER. 5 LEAF SPRING CLAMPS ALLOWED. 1\4″ FLAT STOCK SPRINGS ALLOWED BUT MAY NOT BE WELDED.
7) TIRES: ANY AIR TIRES ALLOWED. NO BIGGER THAN 16″ ALL SPLIT RIMS MUST BE WELDED.
8)FRAMES: NO PLATING, BOXING, DOUBLING OR ADDING CROSSMEMBERS. 6″X6″ 1\4″ PLATE ALLOWED PER BEND. MUST HAVE A 2″ GAP BETWEEN PLATES.
9) HOODS: 6 BOLTS 1″ MAX. 4″X4″ WASHERS MAX. OR 6-3″X3″X4″ ANGLE IRON WELDED TO HOOD AND FENDER WITH 1\2″ BOLTS THREW THEM.
10) COOLING SYSTEM: MUST REMAIN IN FACTORY POSITION RADIATORS OR RADI-BARRELLS. NO KICKERS FROM CORE SUPPORT DOWN TO THE FRAME. NO WELDING RADI-BARRELLS TO THE CORE SUPPORT. JUST BOLTS.
11) TRANSMISSION COOLERS AND ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS ARE ALLOWED.
12) ANY CAR BUMPER FRONT OR REAR, ENGINE CROSS BREEDING ALLOWED. NO HOMEMADE BUMPERS MUST BE AUTOMOTIVE BUMPER. BUMPER BRACKETS CAN GO 8″ FROM BACK OF BUMPER ONTO THE FRAME. NO SKID PLATES FROM CENTER OF BUMPER WELDED TO FRAME.
13) SAFETY CAGE CAN BE BOLTED OR WELDED TO FRAME IN 6 SPOTS. KICKERS FROM CAGE CANNOT EXCEED THE FRONT OF FIREWALL AND CANNOT EXCEED REAR OF DRIVER.
14) ROLL BARS CAN BE BOLTED TO CAB IN 6 SPOTS AND KICKERS CAN BE MOUNTED TO BED FLOOR NOT TO THE FRAME 24″ BEHIND THE DRIVER. KICKERS OFF ROLL BAR HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 4″ IN FRONT OF THE REAR FRONT LEAF SPRING SHACKLE
15) BOX MOUNTS: 6 ADDITIONAL BOX MOUNTS ALLOWED TO HOLD BOX IN PLACE. BOX MOUNT WASHERS CAN BE NO BIGGER THAN 6″X6″X1\4″. MOUNTS CAN GO THREW THE FRAME OR AROUND FRAME. YOU CAN BOX THE FRAME IN 4″ ONLY WHERE YOU HAVE A EXTRA MOUNT ( ONLY WHERE THE MOUNT ITSELF IS LOCATED )
